Accessibility on the SHP Website
The site tries to follow good practice to make the site accessible - navigation is (hopefully) clear, design and layout are consistent, colour is used sparingly and nothing blinks or flashes!!
More significantly, the site is based on ‘relative design’ which gives ‘liquid’ pages. This means that the page layout and font sizes are relative to the text-size set in the browser – and if you increase the text-size to ‘largest’ then the site re-sizes itself and expands; you can then drag the width so that the site fits the width of your screen.
Access keys are initialised as follows.
If you are using Windows pressing the ' Alt ' key in combination with the access key will highlight that link on the page, you then press ' Enter ' to select that link.
If you are using a Mac pressing the ' Ctrl ' key in combination with the access key will automatically send you to that specific page.
