The SHP Conferences

SHP holds three conferences a each year:
  • a 3-day conference where 300 delegates from secondary schools enjoy 48 hours of ‘the best and only CPD needed all year
  • and two 1-day London conferences, one for primary teachers and one for secondary.

The residential July conference includes:
• over 30 workshops from some of the country’s greatest teachers and history educators
• fringe meetings
• 5 plenary sessions which focus on the big issues in history education as well as providing practical strategies for effective teaching and learning
• a resources exhibition
• and fun, friendship and commitment

Principles & Viewpoints
