Feedback on SHP Conference 2014

Fabulous!!! This is the fourth time I’ve been and I love it.

Fantastic – so many great minds and a wonderful atmosphere. This was my first conference and it certainly won’t be my last.

Not just brilliant CPD, but also brilliant fun. A weekend with truly inspiring people.

Mind-stretching and inspirational.

The SHP Conference is excellent in so many ways.

This has been a fantastic experience. The SHP Conference has made me even more excited about starting teaching in September.

Excellent – inspiring as always.

Fantastic – a breath of fresh air and a reminder of why I came into teaching in the first place.

It’s awe-inspiring to come to a conference which is full of history teachers with such amazing ideas.

I’m going to bounce all the way home’ said one teacher as she left the 2009 SHP conference.

The written evaluations, too, were full of praise:

an amazing weekend
a fantastically helpful conference
I saw excellent and inspirational practice in all workshops and plenaries
so well-organised, everything dovetailed

These were just a few of the comments from over 260 teachers who attended.

From Friday to Sunday lunchtime, teachers and history educators were treated to the most creative thinking and practice in history education. Five plenary sessions and over thirty workshops addressed some of the most important issues in school history.
